Our Story in Mesa, AZ

In 1981, John Bevell, the founder of JB Water Plumbing and Treatment Solutions, purchased a water distiller for his wife's health. He saw the potential benefits of this technology and began promoting it to friends and neighbors. Through his dedication and hard work, John successfully grew his distiller business over the next two decades, serving a loyal customer base of over 800 individuals. As an active member of the Arizona Water Quality Association, John served on the board of directors and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of "steam distillation" with fellow members.


JB headquarters is located in a convenient location in North Mesa with easy access to the 202 freeway allowing for quick dispatching to all of the nearby areas including but not limited to Phoenix, Glendale, Avondale, Sun City, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Scottsdale, and Queen Creek. At the core of JB Water & Air's success is a culture of accountability, which is perpetuated by hiring competent professionals.

Who We Are Today

Hi, I am Dallan Randall the owner of JB Water & Air.

At JB it is all about the people who serve you and why we are in business. Our company was founded by my grandfather John Bevell. He lived a life of serving others and developed a foundation of trust with all his customers. Today there are families with third and fourth generations of customers he initially established decades ago benefiting from our services.  He instilled a foundation of Core Values that all our decisions today are based on. At each of our bi-weekly office meetings, we review one of these values and discuss how it is influencing our company today. For instance, one of JB's Core Values is RESPECT which means we sincerely care and carefully consider the impact of our services on the well-being and time of both clients and coworkers. Another one of JB's Core Values is ENJOY LIFE which inspires us to fix our customers problems so they can enjoy life while providing a fun place to work for our employees so that they are able to enjoy life with their families.

Our approach to business has always been to provide outstanding service leading to long-term relationships with our customers. It is all about whom we hire. 


We can teach different skill sets, but we can’t teach sincerity, honesty, and other key personal attributes that align with our core values. J. Dallan Randall

Principal Owner

As the principal owner of JB Water & Air, Dallan has a keen interest in preserving a culture of happy employees that find fulfillment in their work and customers who are thoroughly satisfied. Although he is no longer full-time at JB, he routinely conducts general and executive staff meetings and is available for consultations and quality control to ensure that the work is getting done in a manner consistent with our Core Values.

Matt Vanderwalker

General Manager

Matt Vanderwalker provides top-notch administrative support to the JB Water & Air team. Matt is a native Arizonan and has over 20 years’ experience as a master plumber and small business owner. He has a proven track record of leading businesses to higher levels of customer satisfaction and employee productivity. He is dedicated to creating and preserving a reputation of honesty, dependability, and meticulous trade quality in the Valley. 


At JB Water & Air he is responsible for creating an environment for his team that will allow individual growth and team success. He is excited to be working with a great team here at JB in bringing stellar service to all of JB Water & Air’s customers. 

Marcus Muller

Plumbing & HVAC Service Director

As the Plumbing & HVAC Service Director for JB Water & Air, Marcus Muller is responsible for the flow and breeze of our plumbing and HVAC work.  Making sure that technicians in the field have the proper equipment and training they need to do their jobs. With years of experience, Marcus is an excellent troubleshooter and problem solver when it comes to difficult service issues.

Robbin Dillon

Chief Financial Officer

Robbin Dillon is the Chief Financial Officer for JB Water & Air and handles the accounting and billing issues. Robbin has been with JB since October 2013. She is responsible for all the invoicing and providing the documentation required for our commercial clients. She is always available to answer questions and provide additional information as the need arises.

Richard A. Randall, PE

Public Relations & Permitting

Richard A Randall has been with JB Water & Air since 2011 and does much of the work intended to maintain strong and lasting relationships with our clients. Rich assists with permitting, safety, and technical issues that may come up during the performance of our more demanding plumbing assignments. Rich is a registered Professional Engineer (PE), which comes in handy when submitting permit applications that require a PE stamp.

Kate Smith

Marketing Director

Kate Smith is our go-to person for everything marketing. She has been creating, inspiring, and leading for more than six years in her field, working in both private and public sectors, leaving a lasting impact wherever she goes. Having a passion for marketing and connecting with others, she is here to bring JB Water & Air to new heights while building and strengthening relationships between our team and our community.
